Abarth 695 : the exclusive and supercharged little sports car

In 2019, the famous Scorpio brand celebrated its 70th birthday. The Abarth 695 70 anniversario marks this birthday by completing the five limited series in the range. Paying homage to the year the brand was created, this model will be available in 1949 units.

The Abarth 695 limited series: sporty city cars with assertive personalities

With the Abarth 695 range, the brand emphasises sportiness without sacrificing design and quality of performance. It has five models, two of which are already sold out: the 695 Tributo Ferrari and the 695 Maserati Edition. Aficionados of the brand have three other models that will satisfy even the most demanding among them.

The 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary, born from the collaboration with Riva, inherits certain aesthetic elements of the famous luxury boat brand: the aquamarina liner and the satin chrome castings. This model features the 1.4 litre turbo engine with 180 horsepower, Akrapovic exhaust with carbon fibre tailpipe, black Brembo brake callipers and 17-inch Formula rims. The interior is not to be outdone, with carbon fibre steering wheel, dashboard and gear lever. A numbered plate and upholstery with a 175th Anniversary logo mark this limited series.

The 695 XSR Yamaha is a limited series with a decidedly sporting spirit. Certified by a numbered badge, this model in Pista Gray colour is enhanced with touches of red finishes: highlighting, brake callipers, stickers at the bottom of the doors and spoilers. Under the hood, the Abarth 695 XSR Yamaha is equipped with a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder engine that develops up to 165 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque thanks to the Garrett GT 1446 turbocharger. It has a "Sport" mode which increases the engine response to acceleration and firmer steering.

The 695 Biposto pushes the concept of a sports model to its peak for those who like a little competition. It is equipped with lighter 18-inch rims, front intercooler, oversized Brembo braking system and rear half-arch in titanium to stiffen the body. This two-seater model has the 1.4 T-Jet engine developing 190 hp thanks to a larger diameter Garrett turbocharger.

It was at the Abarth days in Milan in October 2019 that the limited series 70 anniversario was presented to some of the 111,000 members of the Abarth community. It pays homage to 70 years of pure sporting and stylistic pleasure.

The Abarth 695 70 anniversario is available in five colours, including the exclusive Monza Green, which is a reference to the first Abarth 500 having obtained six international records at Monza. It is also available in Scorpione Black, Gara White, Pista Gray and Podio Blue.

The brand takes the idea of the wing designed by Carlo Abarth in the 60s by adding technical innovations. This spoiler, the signature of this model, is adjustable in 12 positions from 0 to 60°, affecting aerodynamics and grip to ensure better performance.

SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT AND DECORATION

Equipped with the most powerful 180 hp (132 kW) at 5500 rpm T-Jet 1368 cc engine in the range, this sports car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds with the manual gearbox and 6.9 seconds with the robotic sequential gearbox. Its maximum speed of 225 km/h is reached with the wing set to 0°.

Koni suspensions (front and rear) provides grip and FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology ensures dynamism and road comfort.
