The Audi A7 Sportback sedan, the style of a coupé in the size of a family car
The Audi A7 was launched in 2011 and immediately appealed to fans of premium family coupés. However, with the emergence of competition and in particular of the Mercedes-Benz CLS, the manufacturer with the rings felt the need to renew its A7 range. A new version was therefore presented in 2018. Inspired by its big sister, the A8, this restyled A7 has a sportier look and more advanced technology than the previous version.
Meet the new Audi A7 Sportback: a sedan that looks like a coupe
The flagship of the brand, the A7 once again does not disappoint in terms of the quality of its finishes and technological sophistication. The nose of the vehicle is equipped with a complex set of radars and sensors which collect a great deal of information on the external environment. For example, one of the on-board radars has a range of 200 m and is the result of an innovative development of the US military.
The central computer collects this information and acts as co-pilot, helping you to anticipate the dangers of the road. The on-board technology affords the vehicle Level 3 autonomy. More specifically, this means that the vehicle is autonomous in certain situations, such as driving at low speed in traffic jams.

The Audi A7 Sportback, a very dynamic coupé
Its coupé-like design could almost make you forget its large size (4.97 m long and 2.11 m wide)! With its 2.96 m wheelbase, the A7 is very spacious and the passengers in the rear have plenty of room for their legs. It also has a large 535-litre boot. However, far from the clumsy look of large premium sedans, it is indeed its dynamism that is so striking. Angular yet harmonious, it has very strong lines. Its very pronounced hexagonal grille gives the vehicle a recognizable signature at first glance. In addition, its "fastback" roof with its vanishing line accentuates the sporty side of this coupé.

A high level of comfort and all modern technologies
The interior strongly resembles that of the Audi A8 and has five mood colours to choose from. With three large screens, the design is modern and decisively oriented towards the touch screen. One screen is located behind the steering wheel and gives you access to conventional driving information (speed, engine speed, consumption, fuel gauge, etc.). On the central console you have a second, long screen which manages the multimedia and the navigation system. Finally, below, there is a third screen which is used to adjust the interior settings of the vehicle, such as air conditioning, seat position, etc.
A wide range of options is available to customize your vehicle. A notable new option is the Bang and Olufsen sound system. An active audio system, it allows you to reduce noise pollution in the passenger compartment – such as the sounds of the tyres or the air passing over the car.
