Audi Q2: The small urban, chic and technological SUV
Since the very first time the Q2 was presented to the general public in 2016, the restyled Audi Q2 has been highly sought after. The new Q2 has now arrived and looking at the changes that have been made to the famous manufacturer's crossover, it is clear that the wait has been worth it.
A slightly higher point of view on the city
Four years after its very first launch, the Audi Q2 is getting a facelift. As usual, the German manufacturer prefers not to bring about a huge revolution, but instead insert several evolutions that are as subtle as they are innovative, for an absolutely unique driving experience.
To start with, in terms of design, the restyled Q2 gains a few millimetres in length (4.21 m), but retains the width (1.79 m) and height (1.54 m) of its predecessor. The same goes for the boot volume, which remains 405 litres. Note that a trailer hitch and an electric tailgate are optional.

Audi Q2: a small urban high-fashion suv
While its dimensions remain essentially identical to its illustrious predecessor, the Q2 features a completely new design, including a fully redesigned bumper, standard LED headlamps and a Singleframe grille for greater air intake. The Q2 is available in 5 body colours – Turbo Blue, Manhattan Grey, Apple Green, Navarre Blue and Arrow Grey.
Within the passenger compartment, what is noticeable is a change in the gear lever knob, the air vents and, above all, the use of a brand new material, Dinamica microfibre, instead of Alcantara.
The new Audi Q2: more sportiness and innovation
The restyled Q2 is equipped from entry level with Virtual Cockpit, with a 12.3-inch handset and an 8.3-inch non-touch screen. Likewise, the urban SUV is also equipped with Audi Connect services, which make it possible to monitor changes in road traffic or its fuel level in real time, among other things. The Drive pack thus includes various driving aids which will considerably improve safety and driving pleasure once you are inside the vehicle.
If the evolutions in terms of connectivity are undeniable in the restyled Q2, the same is true for the engine and its performance. The manufacturer offers no fewer than three TFSI petrol engines (116 to 190 horsepower) and two TDI diesel engines (116 to 150 horsepower). Just like the original Q2, the restyled SUV is fitted with an automatic transmission with double clutch and all-wheel drive, depending on the version.
Still on the topic of technology, this modernized Audi SUV comes standard with progressive steering, as well as (optionally) a sport suspension that lowers the body by 10 mm. Finally, a semi-autonomous driving system complements these major changes with the ability to accelerate, brake, keep the vehicle in a lane and even read signs in order to adapt the speed of the vehicle… This is just another guarantee of reliability illustrating the expertise of the Audi brand. Being an SUV, a coupé and even a city car at the same time, the Q2 guarantees a unique driving experience. With its remarkable sportiness both in the city and out in the countryside, the new restyled Q2 offers the comfort and practicality worthy of a family car. With updated styling and a considerably more technologically modern interior, the restyled Q2 is worth looking into.
