Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder now available in RWD version
While Italy is gradually coming out of the very strict confinement aimed at fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, Lamborghini unveils a novelty that makes the atmosphere less burdensome: the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder! The health crisis that we are going through is forcing manufacturers to adapt to unveil their new products.
It is thus in the form of augmented reality, on the official Lamborghini website, that the Evo RWD Spyder makes its first public appearance. Behind this barbaric name is the latest Huracan Cabriolet in rear-wheel drive version, that is, with two fewer drive wheels than the original model, whose all-wheel drive has been one of the trademarks since its debut in 2014.
However, in keeping with the tradition established on the Gallardo ancestor in 2009, Sant’Agata offers purists an RWD version for Rear Wheel Drive, or rear wheel drive, deliberately aimed at driving sensations. Stefano Domenicali, president of Lamborghini, is full of praise. His description even takes on a special resonance during the period we are living through: “The Huracan Evo Spyder propulsion offers raw driving pleasure and the possibility to celebrate life outdoors (…) while enjoying the feeling of freedom that only open-air driving can provide”.
