The New Porsche Taycan 2024: an Electric Revolution at Full Power

The Porsche Taycan, already groundbreaking upon its launch in 2019, pushes the boundaries even further with its 2024 update. Porsche spared no effort in enhancing this electric icon by increasing its power, range, and charging capabilities, while refining its design and enriching its equipment.

Blistering Acceleration and Extended Range

The performance of the 2024 Taycan reaches unprecedented heights. With even faster acceleration, the base Taycan and Taycan Turbo S rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 and 2.4 seconds, respectively, surpassing their predecessors. A new feature, the Push-to-Pass function, briefly boosts power by up to 70 kW, elevating driving dynamics to a higher level.

Range is also improved, with up to 678 kilometers depending on the model, representing a significant 35% enhancement compared to previous models. Charging is faster and more efficient, allowing for less frequent and shorter stops on long journeys.

Refined Design and Cutting-Edge Equipment

Porsche didn’t solely focus on performance. The design of the Taycan has been refined, offering an even more attractive and distinctive appearance, especially for the Turbo models. The interior is equally impressive, benefiting from enhanced standard equipment and the latest generation of the Porsche Driver Experience, ensuring improved comfort and driving experience. Innovations don’t stop there: a new active chassis and standard adaptive air suspension promise a driving experience that is both more dynamic and comfortable.

PORSCHE TAYCAN TURBO GT: AT THE PINNACLE OF ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE

The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is the ultimate version of this exceptional electric sedan, boosting power to 1108 hp through the use of silicon carbide in the inverter’s semiconductors. This increase in power is accompanied by a maximum torque of 1340 Nm, enabling peak performance, including a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 2.2 seconds with the Weissach package, and a top speed of 305 km/h (189 mph). This model has already set records at the Laguna Seca circuit and the Nürburgring, affirming Porsche’s supremacy in the electric world. The Weissach package, inspired by the 911 GT3 RS and other high-performance Porsche models, helps to reduce the vehicle’s weight by 70 kg (154 lbs) and optimizes its aerodynamics with additions like a fixed wing. This ultimate version of the Taycan also benefits from chassis improvements and comes standard with ceramic brakes and a specific Active Ride suspension, cementing the Turbo GT’s status as the zenith of Porsche’s electric performance.

The Porsche Taycan 2024 heralds a true breakthrough in electromobility, combining exceptional performance, iconic design, and technological innovations. A new chapter unfolds for Porsche and electric car enthusiasts, promising unmatched driving sensations.
