Three years after its launch, the fifth Suzuki Swift offers itself a small make-up session to continue its career serenely.<\/h3>\n

Discreet, but essential. This is the dual status of the Suzuki Swift, which cannot compete with the references of city cars in Europe but is nonetheless essential for the Japanese manufacturer’s life on the Old Continent. In France, the Swift is Japan’s best-selling model, with 11,425 customers won in 2019<\/strong>, almost twice as many as the Vitara, our second best-selling model. After just three years on the market, this fifth generation – the third in the form we know it as it was actually born as Cultus in Japan in the 1980s – is now undergoing a slight restyling.<\/p>\n

A light restyling that focuses mainly on the front panel.<\/h3>\n

This one is mainly on the front of the small Japanese car, which inaugurates a new shield and a new grille in the middle of which a wide horizontal rush is enthroned. In addition to this, new rims and new colors are introduced. Mechanically, the Swift had already cleaned up its small range, leaving only the small 1.2 “Dualjet” and the 129 hp 1.4 Boosterjet for the Swift Sport to survive. Both have been receiving micro-hybridization support for some time now. For this restyling, the capacity of the lithium-ion battery of the 1.2 has been increased from 3 Ah to 10 Ah. No reason to change the Japanese car’s performance, since Suzuki still claims 83 hp at 6,000 rpm and 107 Nm of torque at 2,800 rpm.<\/p>\n
