Ten years after its launch, the Porsche Macan has been completely redesigned and enters a new era with a 100% electric version. Available as the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo, the iconic SUV from the German brand is adapting to the new demands of mobility, without compromising what defines Porsche: high-level performance, athletic design, and cutting-edge technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

An electric SUV built for driving enthusiasts<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

The new Macan Turbo embodies pure sportiness in a fully electrified SUV format. With up to 470 kW (630 hp) and an impressive 1,130 Nm (833 lb-ft) of torque, it sprints from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 3.3 seconds. This power is made possible by two permanent magnet synchronous motors, paired with a 100 kWh battery located under the floor, offering up to 270 kW of fast-charging capacity. The energy recovery system of up to 240 kW completes a setup designed to combine performance and efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Built on the new 800-volt PPE platform, the Macan Turbo benefits from a lowered center of gravity, optimal weight distribution, and an ultra-responsive all-wheel-drive system (ePTM). Driving dynamics are further enhanced by PASM adaptive air suspension with dual-valve dampers and, optionally, rear-axle steering. The result: remarkable agility, both on the road and during low-speed maneuvers. Added to this is a towing capacity of up to 2 tons, a rare feature in the segment of sporty electric SUVs.<\/span><\/p>\n

A spacious, connected interior designed for everyday life<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Inside, the Macan Turbo boasts a modern, immersive layout. Three digital displays can equip the dashboard, including a 12.6-inch curved driver display, a 10.9-inch central screen, and, optionally, a third screen for the passenger. The new operating system is based on Android Automotive OS, integrating Apple CarPlay and numerous apps via the Porsche App Center. The Porsche Driver Experience system includes an augmented reality head-up display, providing intuitive navigation directly in the driver\u2019s line of sight.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for space, electrification has allowed for optimized volumes: 540 liters of rear trunk space, plus 84 liters in the front. When the rear seats are folded down, the total capacity reaches 1,300 liters. Rear passengers enjoy increased legroom, while the front seats adopt a sportier, lower position. True to Porsche\u2019s environmental commitment, the interior offers sustainable materials and many personalization options, including leather-free upholstery and carpets made from recycled Econyl fibers.<\/span><\/p>\n
