A compact, robust SUV available with two battery capacities<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Approximately 4.28 metres long and more spacious than the combustion-engine Vitara thanks to a generous wheelbase, the eVitara features a bold design: modern light signature, raised ground clearance and 18- or 19-inch wheels give it a solid and contemporary stance. Its compact dimensions make it easy to use in urban environments while still offering appealing interior space.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the floor, Suzuki offers two LFP batteries supplied by BYD: 49 kWh (47.8 kWh net) or 61 kWh (59.8 kWh net). In the 49 kWh version, the electric motor delivers 144 hp (106 kW) with a WLTP range of 344 km. The 61 kWh front-wheel-drive version increases output to 174 hp (128 kW) and offers up to 426 km WLTP. At the top of the range, the AllGrip-e variant adds a second motor on the rear axle for electric all-wheel drive, with a combined 183 hp and a 0\u2013100 km\/h time of 7.4 seconds. A rare offering in the compact electric SUV segment.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the road, first impressions highlight stable and reassuring handling. The front end feels precise and body movements are well controlled, even if the suspension may feel firm with the larger wheels. Sound insulation appears carefully engineered, giving the vehicle an overall sense of maturity. Fast charging, rated at up to 90 kW, allows charging from 10 to 80% in around 45 minutes, while the 11 kW onboard charger makes daily use easier.<\/span><\/p>\n

A modernised and better-equipped interior<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Inside, the eVitara represents a step up for Suzuki. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is paired with a 10.1-inch central screen compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The floating centre console and rotary selector free up space, while the rear bench seat slides over 16 cm to adapt the cabin to different needs. Boot capacity ranges from 244 to 310 litres depending on the seat position, and up to 562 litres with the rear seats folded down.<\/span><\/p>\n

Equipment includes the expected features of a modern electric SUV: standard heat pump, driving modes, adjustable regenerative braking, smartphone app and route planning. Without claiming premium status, the build quality appears solid and the overall ambience coherent.<\/span><\/p>\n
