Audi is preparing the arrival of its new Q9, a full-size family SUV set to take its place at the very top of the brand\u2019s range. Expected to be officially unveiled in summer 2026, this new model aims to surpass the benchmarks of the segment. Through the first information revealed by Audi, the Q9 already stands out with a particularly spacious cabin, an advanced technological approach and a level of comfort designed for both long-distance journeys and everyday family use.<\/span><\/p>\n

Powerful drivetrains and a driving experience focused on comfort<\/span><\/h2>\n

Audi remains discreet regarding the future Q9\u2019s powertrain range, but several configurations are already being considered. The SUV could offer six-cylinder engines, along with a plug-in hybrid version designed to combine performance and efficiency. A sportier SQ9 variant powered by a V8 engine also remains a possibility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond outright performance, Audi is primarily focusing on onboard experience and driving comfort. The Q9 will offer seating for up to seven occupants, with an optional six-seat configuration featuring two individual electrically adjustable second-row seats inspired by the world of business class travel. Ventilation, relaxation functions and easier access to the third row all contribute to this wellness-oriented approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

The SUV will also introduce several new technological features, such as electrically operated doors controllable via the key, the myAudi app or the MMI system. All onboard assistance systems and connected technologies are designed to simplify everyday journeys while enhancing safety and comfort.<\/span><\/p>\n

A refined and technological interior designed as a living space<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Audi Q9 adopts a resolutely premium approach to interior design. The large panoramic opening roof, featuring segmented dimmable glazing, helps create a bright and immersive atmosphere. An advanced ambient lighting system, including up to 84 LEDs integrated into the headliner, allows the interior ambience to be personalised with up to 30 different colours.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dashboard adopts Audi\u2019s digital environment with several integrated displays combined with a Bang & Olufsen 4D sound system. This setup combines immersive sound reproduction, speakers integrated into the headrests and actuators built into the front seats to allow occupants to physically feel the music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Audi also pays particular attention to perceived quality through the use of premium materials such as Nappa leather, natural wood, wool and carbon-fibre inserts. Matte and textured surfaces reduce visible marks while reinforcing the sense of refinement. Finally, the numerous storage spaces, generous luggage capacity and integrated charging solutions illustrate Audi\u2019s ambition to make the Q9 a true mobile living space adapted to modern lifestyles.<\/span><\/p>\n
