Audi is opening a new chapter in its history with the unveiling of the Nuvolari, a high-performance hybrid supercar that pushes the technological boundaries of the brand with the four rings. Inspired by the world of Formula 1 and produced in a limited series of 499 units, this exceptional sports car aims to become the most powerful and fastest production model ever created by Audi. With an output of 1,001 hp, a top speed exceeding 350 km\/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 2.6 seconds, the Audi Nuvolari embodies the German manufacturer\u2019s ambition to combine innovation, electrification, and extreme performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hybrid Technology Inspired by Formula 1<\/span><\/h2>\n

At the heart of the Audi Nuvolari lies a hybrid powertrain delivering up to 736 kW, equivalent to 1,001 hp. It combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 800 hp with three axial-flux electric motors. Two of these are installed on the front axle, while the third is integrated between the combustion engine and the transmission.<\/span><\/p>\n

This architecture enables the supercar to benefit from an intelligent all-wheel-drive system known as quattro predictive ride. The system continuously analyses driving conditions and instantly adapts torque distribution, braking, and aerodynamics to optimise traction and stability. Several driving modes are available, ranging from E-Hybrid mode for fully electric driving to Track mode designed for circuit use.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nuvolari also benefits from advanced energy management directly inspired by motorsport. Energy recovery strategies, the Launch Control system, and brake-by-wire technology all contribute to delivering exceptionally high levels of performance while optimising the use of available energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Spectacular Design Dedicated to Performance<\/span><\/h2>\n

The first production Audi to adopt the brand\u2019s new design philosophy, the Nuvolari features true supercar proportions with its mid-engine layout, low-slung silhouette, and aerodynamically sculpted surfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every body component serves a specific purpose. The structure combines an Audi Space Frame with a body made entirely of carbon fibre, a first for Audi. This design minimises weight while ensuring exceptional rigidity. The centre-lock forged wheels, directly inspired by motorsport, also contribute to this pursuit of performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Active aerodynamics is one of the model\u2019s key strengths. The adaptive rear wing automatically adjusts its angle according to driving conditions, while a Formula 1-derived DRS system can be activated to reduce drag and improve top speed. In its most aggressive configuration, the system is capable of generating more than 400 kg of downforce.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside, Audi adopts an approach firmly focused on the driver. The cockpit combines premium materials, extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre, and a human-machine interface designed to minimise distractions. Lightweight carbon-fibre-structure seats and visual references to the world of motorsport further enhance the model\u2019s exclusive character.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scheduled to go on sale during the first half of 2027, the Audi Nuvolari pays tribute to the legendary Italian racing driver Tazio Nuvolari. It also symbolises Audi\u2019s determination to transfer to the road the technologies developed in the most demanding disciplines of motorsport.<\/span><\/p>\n
