Lamborghini Urus SE Performante: the hybrid Super SUV reaches new heights of performance
Lamborghini expands its Urus range with a new version that pushes the boundaries of the Super SUV concept even further. Named the Urus SE Performante, this plug-in hybrid version combines a twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor to deliver an unprecedented 812 hp. Lighter, faster and more aerodynamic than ever, it combines extreme performance, driving precision and a high level of comfort, both on the road and on the track.
Unprecedented performance for enhanced driving sensations
Under the bonnet, the Lamborghini Urus SE Performante combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a permanent-magnet electric motor to deliver a combined output of 812 hp (597 kW) and maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. Thanks to this plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Italian SUV boasts an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 3 kg per horsepower, made possible by even more extensive use of carbon fibre.
Performance lives up to these impressive specifications: 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h is achieved in 10.8 seconds, while top speed reaches 312 km/h, making this the fastest Urus ever created.
Driving dynamics also improve thanks to numerous technical developments. Lamborghini introduces the dual-chamber AURA air suspension on the Urus, capable of significantly reducing body roll while noticeably improving suspension comfort. The new Rally mode joins the Strada, Sport, Corsa and EV modes to deliver unprecedented driving sensations on loose surfaces. The package is completed by particularly sophisticated electronic management incorporating a 6D sensor and a latest-generation predictive braking system, ensuring remarkable precision in all conditions.
An even bolder design serving aerodynamics
Visually, the Urus SE Performante displays a more radical character than ever. Its new carbon-fibre bonnet, redesigned bumpers, imposing rear diffuser and two spoilers contribute both to its identity and to improved aerodynamic performance. Lamborghini announces a significant increase in aerodynamic downforce as well as improved cooling efficiency for the brakes and hybrid powertrain.
Wider wheel arches, new 23-inch wheels, numerous exposed carbon-fibre elements and more sculpted lines further enhance its spectacular appearance. Inside, the atmosphere reflects Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy, with a driver-focused layout, technical materials such as CorsaTex in Dinamica microfibre, a new 12.3-inch central display and an interface inspired by the Revuelto.
