Jeep Cherokee: American style
The origins of the legendary Cherokee date back to the 1970s, when the American brand of 4x4 was still an integral part of the AMC group. This timeless SUV has gone down in legend by demonstrating truly significant off-road performance, despite its compact size. In 2014, after its takeover by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the American manufacturer launched the 5th generation of its flagship vehicle: the NIGHT EAGLE model. This sported a rather unconventional design, which did not go down well with brand regulars.
Jeep Cherokee: a modern, efficient and over-equipped SUV
Following the limited sales of its 2014 model, FCA decided to offer a brand new version 5 years later. The 2019 vintage thus benefits from a revamped exterior design, which is clearly more loyal to the visual identity usually promoted by the brand's models. Some changes are immediately obvious, compared to the old model. Indeed, we note that the grille has been slightly raised, the position of the headlights has been redesigned and the shields have been completely overhauled. The sporty SUV is also equipped with new full LED front and rear headlights, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels that give it even more character. Although it sports clean lines in keeping with the times, the new compact SUV also harks back to its roots by demonstrating an old-fashioned style and appearing decidedly more adventurous.

Jeep Cherokee: make yourself comfortable
A powerful and economical diesel engine. Two versions : Limited and Overland

JEEP CHEROKEE: a character steeped in a velvet glove
Available in a 9-speed automatic gearbox, the 2019 edition definitely has no reason to envy its predecessor, the NIGHT EAGLE model; either on the outside or the inside. Indeed, once seated in the cockpit, we see that the American 4x4 offers sophisticated equipment that has been specially designed for the comfort and safety of both driver and passengers. The interior of the vehicle therefore benefits from a top-of-the-range design combining both innovation and quality.
While all passengers enjoy the comfort of the heated seats covered in nappa leather, the driver has access to the various on-board technologies via the 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen integrated into the dashboard. Other reliable functions include a parking aid, a reversing camera, a movement detection system, a collision alert and a blind-spot monitoring system, to name but a few.

The Jeep CHEROKEE limited: dynamic but comfortable
In terms of road performance, the new LIMITED edition is also no slowcoach. The off-road vehicle is equipped with a 2.2-liter Multijet diesel engine, with a total of no less than 195 horsepower. It thus demonstrates tireless sportiness and dynamism by ensuring good road-holding and particularly comfortable driving. Whether driving on tarmac roads or in a more hostile environment, the American SUV will have no problem adapting to any situation, thanks to the various driving modes at its disposal (automatic, sport, snow, sand and mud).
To offer an experience suited to the various profiles of existing drivers, the American brand of the FCA group also provides its customers with the choice of two different transmission modes (4x4 and two-wheel drive). So for people who drive around town regularly with no real need for all-wheel drive, the two-wheel drive version is the ideal option.
