Jeep Compass 2026 Range: the Jeep spirit between electrification and versatility

With this new generation of the Compass, Jeep evolves its family SUV while preserving what defines its identity: assertive styling, genuine off-road capabilities and outstanding everyday versatility. Now based on the STLA Medium platform, the new Compass gains in interior space, efficiency and onboard technologies. Its modernised design, electrified powertrains and two trim levels, Altitude and Summit, enable it to meet the needs of both families and drivers looking for a comfortable and technology-focused SUV.

Electrified powertrains designed for every type of use

The new 2026 Jeep Compass offers a particularly comprehensive engine range, from mild hybrid technology to fully electric powertrains. The 145 hp e-Hybrid version combines a turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology and a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This configuration prioritises driving smoothness and efficiency, particularly in urban traffic and everyday journeys.

The range also includes a plug-in hybrid version producing 225 hp through the combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor. This version allows up to 90 km of fully electric driving range according to the WLTP cycle, while maintaining excellent long-distance capability. Charging can be carried out quickly thanks to a 7.4 kW onboard charger.

The fully electric range completes the offering with several power levels, including an all-wheel-drive version delivering up to 375 hp. Depending on the configuration, driving range can reach up to 650 km WLTP. The electric versions also benefit from fast charging up to 160 kW, enabling a significant portion of the battery range to be recovered in around 30 minutes.

Faithful to Jeep DNA, the Compass retains genuine off-road abilities with generous ground clearance, the standard Selec-Terrain system and a water fording capacity of up to 470 mm.

Altitude and Summit: two trim levels, two visions of the Jeep SUV

The new Jeep Compass is available in France with two trim levels: Altitude and Summit. From the Altitude trim onwards, equipment levels are particularly comprehensive, featuring a large 16-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, semi-autonomous driving assistance systems, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and a hands-free tailgate. Alloy wheels up to 19 inches and LED headlights further reinforce the SUV’s road presence.

The Summit trim enhances the experience with a more premium presentation and additional comfort- and technology-oriented equipment. It notably stands out with its illuminated Jeep grille, Matrix LED headlights, wheels up to 20 inches and LED rear lights featuring an illuminated logo. Inside, it receives TEP upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and customisable ambient lighting.

Inside the cabin, the Compass also modernises its interior environment with improved perceived quality, increased rear passenger space and a boot capacity reaching up to 550 litres. The numerous driver assistance systems, physical controls retained for essential functions and onboard technologies all contribute to creating a comfortable, intuitive driving experience suited to every type of use.
