Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler 4xe: Plug-In Hybrids Combining Power and Refinement

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 4XE: A PREMIUM SUV BUILT FOR ADVENTURE… AND THE ENERGY TRANSITION

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe embodies the new vision of the American SUV: more environmentally conscious, without compromising its off-road heritage or its premium standing. With this plug-in hybrid version, Jeep expands its electrified lineup while staying true to the key elements behind its success: performance, comfort, and impressive off-road capabilities.

A hybrid powertrain designed for efficiency and versatility

Under the hood, the Grand Cherokee 4xe combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a high-performance electric motor, delivering a total output of 380 horsepower. This duo ensures sports-car-like acceleration while maintaining controlled fuel consumption, rated at just 4.1 L/100 km. Thanks to its 17 kWh battery, it can travel up to 40 km in 100% electric mode — ideal for daily urban commutes. On or off the road, its qualities remain uncompromised: all-wheel drive, a towing capacity of 2,720 kg, and optimized ground clearance, even on extreme terrain. The Trailhawk version is equipped with a disconnecting stabilizer bar for enhanced traction. Inside, luxury meets technology with leather upholstery, fine wood inserts, dual touchscreens, and the Uconnect 5 system. The Grand Cherokee 4xe stands out as a premium hybrid SUV that is elegant, powerful, and environmentally friendly.

JEEP WRANGLER 4XE: THE ICONIC OFF-ROADER GOES PLUG-IN HYBRID

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe retains its adventurous spirit while stepping into the era of electrification. With this plug-in hybrid version, the American brand successfully combines power, energy efficiency, and extreme off-road capability. Without compromising its style or performance, the Wrangler 4xe First Edition introduces a new way to experience adventure, with a renewed sense of driving pleasure.

Hybrid technology serving performance and range

The Wrangler 4xe pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 375 horsepower, all managed by an automatic transmission. The result: 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds, for a vehicle equally comfortable on the road and off the beaten path. The 17.3 kWh lithium battery allows up to 56 km of 100% electric driving (WLTP), with an average consumption of 3.5 l/100 km and 79 g of CO₂/km. Three driving modes are available: Electric, Hybrid, and eSave. The Max Regen system optimizes energy recovery during deceleration, and a full recharge on a 7.4 kW charging station takes about 3 hours. True to its DNA, the Wrangler retains exceptional off-road capabilities while offering comfort, Uconnect connectivity, and enhanced safety with 65 onboard features.
