Already 10000 Lamborghini Urus sold in the world
Lamborghini has just produced its 10,000th Urus, just two years after the launch of the SUV.
Whether purists like it or not, even the sportiest and most prestigious brands in the automotive world have entered the flourishing SUV market in recent years. And just like the generalist manufacturers, it’s working!
The Italian manufacturer has just passed the 10,000 Urus mark, just two years after the launch of the model. The anniversary model, a black Urus customized by the Ad Personam studio for the Russian market, was released on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant in Italy. For the occasion, some of the site’s employees put a smile on their faces (photo). Urus, Lamborghini’s new best-seller In 2019, in its first full year on the market, 4,962 units of the Urus were sold worldwide, representing 61% of the manufacturer’s worldwide sales. This was far ahead of Huracan (2,139 units sold) and Aventador (1,104 units).
Since last year, Lamborghini has officially sold more SUVs than sports cars. And that’s probably not going to stop any time soon, since the brand is now considering a Urus, probably starting with a hybrid version. Carbon purists will be happy to hear that… and that’s for sure.
