Lamborghini Revuelto SV: the Super Veloce sets a new record
Just a few days before its world premiere, Lamborghini is already revealing the ambitions of its new Revuelto SV. True to the Super Veloce name, this even more radical version of the Revuelto has already made its mark by setting the fastest time ever achieved by a production car at Germany’s Hockenheim circuit. A performance that confirms the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand’s determination to once again push the limits of hybrid supercars.
A record that demonstrates the potential of the new Revuelto SV
Driven by official Lamborghini test driver Marco Mapelli, the Revuelto SV completed the famous Hockenheim circuit in 1 min 41.6 sec, setting a new record for a production car.
An international benchmark for automotive performance, Hockenheim is renowned for its particularly demanding layout, combining long straights, heavy braking zones and technical sequences of corners. This type of circuit makes it possible to accurately assess a vehicle’s dynamic qualities and serves as a true testing ground for sports car manufacturers.
According to Lamborghini, the Revuelto SV takes the performance of the Revuelto even further thanks to development entirely focused on efficiency, driving precision and sensations behind the wheel. The manufacturer emphasises that every evolution has been designed to increase driver engagement while fully exploiting the potential of its high-performance hybrid architecture.
A new benchmark for supercar enthusiasts
The Revuelto SV will be officially unveiled on 14 August at the prestigious The Quail event, held as part of Monterey Car Week in California. It will share the spotlight with several major Lamborghini debuts, including the US presentation of the new Urus SE Performante as well as a special Revuelto Miura 60° Homage edition celebrating the legacy of the iconic Miura.
This new Super Veloce version further strengthens a Lamborghini range that is now fully electrified, built around the Revuelto, Temerario and Urus SE. By setting a record even before its official launch, the Revuelto SV is already making its ambition clear: to become the new benchmark among the most powerful and exclusive hybrid supercars on the market.
