Lamborghini and Babolat unveil the BL003: automotive performance at the service of padel
Automobili Lamborghini and Babolat continue their collaboration with the launch of the new BL003, a padel racket designed as a true piece of high-performance engineering. The result of joint work between two global references in innovation and precision, this third edition illustrates the convergence between the automotive world and the world of sport.
A racket inspired by the DNA of Italian supercars
Following the success of the BL001 and BL002 models, this new BL003 marks a further step in the partnership between the two brands. Developed jointly by Lamborghini’s engineering teams and Babolat’s game technology specialists, it aims to deliver an optimal balance between power, manoeuvrability and precision.
Inspired by the DNA of Lamborghini supercars, the BL003 stands out through its advanced structural architecture and the use of high-modulus carbon fibres. Its design is based on specific geometries and an aerodynamic profile engineered to enhance stability and responsiveness with every shot. The objective: to allow players to benefit from maximum control and power, while maintaining great agility on court.
Materials derived from automotive engineering
The BL003 incorporates next-generation materials directly inspired by the automotive world. Its 3K carbon surface and frame reinforced with KORIDION — a foam derived from a patented technology used in Lamborghini vehicles — ensure rigidity and precision. This combination guarantees excellent energy return, improved stability and an immediate response on impact.
Lightweight and perfectly balanced, the racket also features an ABS thermoplastic coating that enhances hitting comfort and increases overall durability. Each piece is handcrafted at the Babolat Padel Studio in Spain, a workshop dedicated to the brand’s most exclusive models, produced in limited quantities.
A collaboration establishing itself in the premium padel universe
Since the launch of the first BL001 in 2024, produced within Lamborghini’s own facilities, the partnership between the two brands has established itself as a reference in the premium padel segment. The BL002, presented in 2025, had already marked a notable evolution thanks to improved stability and a design directly inspired by the aerodynamic lines of Italian supercars.
With the BL003, Lamborghini and Babolat continue this momentum by offering equipment that combines competitive spirit, technological innovation and bold design. Produced in a limited series and available from February 2026 through selected retailers, this new racket embodies a shared vision: pushing the limits of performance, on the road as well as on the court.
