Jeep Recon: electric power serving off-road capability
The Jeep Recon will mark an important step in the brand’s evolution by the end of 2026, introducing a fully electric SUV designed to retain genuine off-road capabilities. Staying true to the Jeep spirit, it combines robustness, versatility and modern technologies in a format suited to both everyday use and adventure. This new model clearly reflects the brand’s ambition: to deliver electrification without compromising performance or usability.
AN ELECTRIC SUV DESIGNED FOR ADVENTURE AND VERSATILITY
The Jeep Recon stands out with a design conceived from the outset for off-road driving, featuring a standard electric all-wheel drive system based on two motors delivering up to 650 hp and 840 Nm of torque. This architecture enables precise traction management, enhanced by the Selec-Terrain system offering multiple driving modes, along with specific features such as a locking differential and low-speed crawl control.
Its design remains faithful to Jeep’s DNA, with a robust silhouette, a reinterpreted seven-slot grille and distinctive elements such as removable doors, a rear swing window and an open-air roof, encouraging outdoor use. The interior combines durable materials, modularity and onboard technologies, with a wide array of digital displays, a connected Uconnect 5 system and storage solutions tailored to outdoor activities.
With an estimated range of around 450 km and strong performance (0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds), the Recon positions itself as an electric SUV capable of combining on-road efficiency, off-road capability and everyday comfort, while integrating modern equipment and more than 170 safety and driver assistance features.
