New Lamborghini Urus Performante: even more exclusive
The 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante is a wilder, faster and even more exclusive version of the Italian manufacturer's SUV. This "Performance" version is packed with subtle but important improvements that make it faster and even more exciting to drive.
Performance still on the rise
The Urus Performante still uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Power increases slightly in the Performante, from 650 horsepower to 666 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Also, the Urus followed a diet that made him lose 47 kg in total. The bumpers, roof, wheel arches, diffuser, front splitter and protruding roof spoiler are all made from carbon. These aerodynamic appendages increase overall downforce by 8% while managing to reduce drag. Impressive.
Features that make you dizzy
According to Lamborghini's timer, the Performante should be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, about 0.3 seconds faster than the standard car. The top speed of 306 km/h is however unchanged. To help further improve the agility of the Urus Performante on the road and in the corners, a new differential is fitted and illustrates its value in the new driver-selectable Rally mode. It prepares the Urus for high-speed off-road driving by adjusting the anti-roll system and suspension damping.
A fully customizable ultra-sporty SUV
Finally, the cabin of the Urus Performante is quite similar to that of the standard Urus, although the spicier Lambo comes standard with black Alacantara with a hexagonal dot pattern on the seats. Of course, owners will be free to choose between a dizzying array of color and trim choices to personalize their ultra-sporty SUV to their liking, with the Ad Personam program of course available for this model as well.
