Audi Q4 e-tron: more range, more technology, ever more versatile

Audi continues to develop its Q4 e-tron with a facelift that modernises the design, onboard experience and electric performance alike. Available in both SUV and Sportback versions, the brand’s compact all-electric model benefits from significant technical improvements, particularly in terms of range, charging and connectivity. This update allows the Q4 e-tron to strengthen its position within Audi’s electric range while meeting the expectations of drivers looking for a versatile and efficient premium SUV for everyday use.

Optimised electric powertrains for greater range and performance

The new Audi Q4 e-tron still relies on the MEB electric platform but now adopts an optimised drivetrain. The range is structured around several rear-wheel-drive or quattro configurations, with two battery capacities available: 63 kWh or 82 kWh.

The entry-level version delivers 204 hp and offers up to 452 km of WLTP range in Sportback form. Higher variants reach 285 hp in rear-wheel-drive configuration and up to 340 hp with quattro all-wheel drive. Thanks to the introduction of a new electric motor and various software and mechanical optimisations, range improves significantly to reach up to 592 km WLTP on certain Sportback versions.

Audi also enhances fast-charging capabilities with charging power reaching up to 185 kW DC on quattro Performance versions. Charging from 10 to 80% remains limited to around 28 minutes. The SUV also introduces V2L and V2H bidirectional charging functions, notably allowing external electrical devices to be powered directly from the vehicle.

A modernised design and an even more technological interior

The Q4 e-tron facelift brings a subtle yet visible evolution to the exterior design. Redesigned bumpers, new customisable light signatures and second-generation OLED rear lights reinforce the model’s visual identity. The Sportback version retains its more dynamic profile with a sloping roofline accentuating its sporty appearance.

Inside, the changes are more pronounced. The Q4 e-tron adopts a new layout inspired by Audi’s latest models, with a large curved display combining the 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and the 12.8-inch central touchscreen. A third passenger display can also be added as an option. The new One Connected Infotainment system improves digital features and onboard connectivity.

Spaciousness remains one of the model’s key strengths thanks to its generous 2.76-metre wheelbase. Rear passengers benefit from comfortable space, while the boot offers up to 527 litres of capacity depending on the version. Audi also enhances perceived quality with new materials and a cleaner overall presentation. Finally, the addition of a 230 V socket in the boot illustrates the brand’s intention to further increase the everyday versatility of its electric SUV.
