Porsche Cayenne S Electric: a core model balancing power and refinement
In March 2026, the Cayenne Electric range expands with a new variant: the Cayenne S Electric. Positioned between the entry-level Cayenne Electric and the more radical Cayenne Turbo Electric, this model aims to become the natural choice for drivers seeking an electric SUV combining dynamic performance, generous range and everyday refinement. With an additional 165 kW compared to the base model, a refined exterior design and an expanded range of options, the Cayenne S Electric clearly positions itself as the ideal balance between performance and versatility. It is now available to order at your Porsche Centres in Antibes and Monaco, starting from €129,200 including VAT.
544 hp and up to 654 km of range: an uncompromising SUV
The Cayenne S Electric is built on the 800-volt architecture shared across the entire Cayenne Electric range. Its two permanently excited synchronous motors — one on each axle — deliver a combined output of 544 hp (400 kW) in standard configuration. With Launch Control, this figure rises to 666 hp (490 kW), while the Push to Pass function, included in the optional Sport Chrono Package, provides an additional 90 kW for ten seconds to support overtaking or acceleration out of corners. The result is a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The rear motor, the more powerful of the two, features direct oil cooling — a technology derived from the Turbo Electric — ensuring consistent performance even under sustained high loads on track.
The exterior design visually reflects this increase in performance. The front and rear bumpers feature specific elements in Volcano Grey metallic, while inserts and the diffuser are finished in body colour. Red brake callipers and larger front brake discs further enhance the model’s visual identity. A choice of thirteen exterior colours and wheels ranging from 20 to 22 inches allows for extensive personalisation.
In terms of range, the Cayenne S Electric is equipped with a 113 kWh battery offering up to 654 km according to the WLTP cycle, with consumption between 19.4 and 21.6 kWh/100 km. DC fast charging reaches up to 400 kW thanks to the 800-volt architecture, enabling a 10 to 80% charge in just 16 minutes under optimal conditions. These figures position the Cayenne S Electric among the benchmarks in its segment for long-distance use without compromise.
Equipment and personalisation: extended access to the most exclusive Porsche features
The Cayenne S Electric does not simply offer increased power; it also provides access to dynamic options previously reserved for the Turbo Electric. Porsche Active Ride, a suspension system capable of almost entirely compensating for body movements, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), which refines torque distribution between the rear wheels, are among the most notable features. For the most demanding drivers, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) with yellow callipers is also available, ensuring consistent braking performance even under intensive use.
Inside, the cabin is defined by a driver-focused ergonomics and a fully digital environment. The curved instrument display faces a large central touchscreen, with an optional third screen available for the passenger. A key highlight of this launch is the introduction of a new interior package by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, developed in collaboration with Style Porsche. Named the Interior Style Package, it is the first in a series of “Director’s Cuts” that will be progressively introduced across the Cayenne Electric range. This package features a two-tone Black and Delgada Green upholstery, contrast stitching, specific decorative inserts, a distinctive Sport GT steering wheel and even a matching vehicle key. The seat belts also adopt the dedicated colour, creating an atmosphere that is both sporty and refined.
Comfort features such as the Porsche Digital Key, which can be shared with up to seven users, and surface heating without ventilation, complete an equipment package designed for both everyday use and long journeys. The Cayenne S Electric is now available for configuration at your Porsche Centres in Antibes and Monaco.
