The Macan S evolves compared to the previous version, with a smaller engine but more powerful. Now, instead of a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, you get a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. Good news for green people! This new version offers 27 additional horsepower compared to the 2021 version, i.e. 375 horsepower to propel the vehicle from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds. A performance which is clearly favored by the presence of the additional turbocharger. The base version, meanwhile, is equipped with a four-cylinder engine of 261 horsepower, still offering an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds.
PORSCHE MACAN GTS: FOR MORE POWER
For you who love big adrenaline rushes, the 434 horsepower developed by the Porsche Macan GTS will surely thrill you. This model bequeaths its old engine to the new S version and now features a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 producing 405 lb-ft of torque. Clearly, the new Porsche Macan GTS produces an additional 59 horsepower compared to its predecessor. When fitted with the Sport Chrono Package, it can go 0-100 km / h in 4.3 seconds. It is also the same power that we find on the Turbo version. For purely sporty driving, you now have the right car. Note that the GTS 2022 is reduced in size by around 10 millimeters thanks to the air suspension it receives as standard.
Driving pleasure and enjoyment are even more remarkable thanks to the PTM all-wheel drive with traction management. The Porsche double clutch (PDK) and the 7-speed automatic gearbox are there for flawless reliability. In terms of innovation, there is also an improved chassis promoting greater reliability and precision in all conditions. This chassis is intended to be more sensitive to driver interventions but also to road conditions.
