Audi A2 e-tron: taking on the city and beyond
With the new Audi A2 e-tron, Audi revives an iconic name in the form of a 100% electric compact car designed for today’s needs. Available with three battery capacities, four power levels and up to 646 km of WLTP range, it combines compact dimensions, energy efficiency and latest-generation technology. It now represents one of the main entry points into Audi’s electric range.
An electric compact car designed around efficiency and everyday use
The new Audi A2 e-tron embraces the innovative spirit that characterised the first generation of the A2, while adapting it to the demands of electric mobility. Its development focused in particular on energy efficiency, with consumption as low as 12.8 kWh/100 km according to the WLTP cycle in its most efficient configuration.
This efficiency is notably based on particularly refined aerodynamics. With a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.24, the A2 e-tron achieves the best result ever recorded by an Audi in the compact segment. The electric powertrain has also been optimised to minimise energy losses and provide a range suited to both everyday journeys and long-distance travel.
Versatility is also reflected in the interior layout. The boot offers 396 litres of luggage capacity and up to 1,336 litres when the rear seats are folded down. Some versions also feature a 13-litre front luggage compartment, providing storage for accessories or charging cables.

Up to 326 hp, 646 km of range and 183 kW fast charging
In its entry-level 170 hp version, the Audi A2 e-tron can offer up to 423 km of WLTP range. The various combinations of batteries and powertrains then progressively increase performance and range, reaching up to 326 hp and a maximum WLTP range of 646 km.
DC charging power can reach 183 kW. Depending on the version, charging from 10 to 80% takes between 24 and 29 minutes under optimal conditions. The e-tron route planner supports journeys by integrating charging requirements into route calculations.
The A2 e-tron is also the first Audi to offer bidirectional charging. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows electricity stored in the battery to be used to power external devices. Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) technology, which can be used with a compatible DC wallbox, allows energy to be supplied back to a home and the vehicle’s battery to be used temporarily as an energy storage solution.

A new digital interior and equipment from higher segments
The interior of the Audi A2 e-tron adopts a design entirely focused on digital technology. As standard, the MMI panoramic display combines the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus with a curved 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen. The Audi assistant with integrated artificial intelligence completes this interface, making it easier to access the vehicle’s various functions.
The Softwrap is one of the distinctive features of the new interior. It extends from the dashboard to the door panels to create visual continuity and enhance the sense of space. Audi is also introducing the Fidlock magnetic fastening system on the A2 e-tron, allowing various accessories to be quickly installed in the passenger compartment or boot.
The electric compact car also benefits from numerous driver assistance systems fitted as standard, including emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, evasive assist, driver attention assist, park assist plus and a reversing camera.
Designed and produced in Ingolstadt, the Audi A2 e-tron combines the dimensions and practicality of a compact car with a range of up to 646 km. It is a new interpretation of the A2 that retains the model’s founding principle: using technology to maximise efficiency while offering a vehicle suited to everyday use.
