New Audi A6 e-hybrid quattro: efficiency, elegance and dynamism come standard
Audi presents the new A6 and A6 Avant plug-in hybrids, designed to combine driving comfort, performance and enhanced electric range. A major evolution that will appeal both to premium sedan enthusiasts and drivers seeking more responsible solutions for everyday use.
A more accomplished plug-in hybrid range than ever
With the new Audi A6 e-hybrid quattro and Audi A6 Avant e-hybrid quattro, the four-ring brand expands its range with two models that combine elegant design, cutting-edge technologies and electrified powertrains. Both available in two power levels – 299 hp or 367 hp – they feature a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine combined with a 105 kW electric motor, and now benefit from a new-generation high-voltage battery. This offers a usable capacity of 20.7 kWh, allowing up to 110 km of all-electric range under the WLTP urban cycle.
Charging is made easier by an AC charging capacity increased to 11 kW, enabling a full charge in just 2h30. Performance is on point, with 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 5.3 seconds in the more powerful version. All versions come with quattro ultra all-wheel drive, a 7-speed S tronic gearbox and standard all-wheel steering, enhancing agility in the city and stability at high speeds.
In terms of style, the A6 sedan stands out with its fluid and balanced lines, while the A6 Avant adopts a more dynamic profile with a sculpted rear and roof spoiler. The most powerful models feature an S line finish, 19-inch wheels, lowered sport suspension and red brake calipers. The interior emphasizes comfort and a premium atmosphere with wrap-around sport seats, 4-zone climate control and improved sound insulation.
Finally, the intelligent hybrid management system automatically adapts the usage strategy between electric and hybrid modes based on the route and driving style. Three levels of energy recuperation can be adjusted using the steering wheel paddles, optimizing range while delivering a smooth and pleasant driving experience.
