The new Porsche Taycan

An electric sedan loaded with emotions.

The soul has many facets, but no fixed form. It is variable, constantly in motion - and manifests itself in the most varied ways. It can be expressed in several emotions including enthusiasm. As for example at the sight of the Porsche Taycan or during the starting acceleration of the Taycan Turbo S up to 1.2 G.

Two batteries to choose from

Unsurprisingly, the Taycan inherits the battery configurations of its big sisters. In its basic version, Performance, the electric sports car from Porsche incorporates a battery with a gross capacity of 79.2 kWh for a range of 431 km. In Performance Battery Plus, the capacity of the pack climbs to 93.4 kWh for a range of 484 kilometers.

Under load, the performance differs slightly between the two models. In direct current (DC), count 225 kW for the basic version and 270 kW for the long-range version. This means that both batteries can be charged from 5 to 80% SoC in 22.5 minutes. As with the other variants, it will be possible to integrate an optional 22 kW charger for AC charging.

Expected in dealerships in mid-March, the new Porsche Taycan rear-wheel drive is establishing itself as the manufacturer's new entry-level offering.

Available now to order, its price starts from € 86,254 incl.
