Audi Q3 e-hybrid 204 PS: the premium compact SUV gains electric range

The third-generation Audi Q3 receives a new plug-in hybrid powertrain, now available to order. This Q3 e-hybrid produces 204 PS and offers a claimed range of up to 118 km in all-electric mode on the WLTP cycle. Available as an SUV and a Sportback, it expands the electrified line-up of a model that has sold more than two million units worldwide since its launch. It retains the strengths of the new generation: a digital and modular cabin, latest-generation lighting and driver assistance systems derived from higher segments.

A plug-in hybrid powertrain designed for everyday use

The powertrain combines a 1.5 TFSI four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor integrated into the six-speed S tronic gearbox. Together, they deliver a system output of 150 kW (204 PS), sent to the front wheels. This architecture seeks to strike a balance between efficiency, driving pleasure and versatility.

Electrical energy is stored in a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 24.6 kWh. It allows up to 118 km of all-electric driving on the WLTP cycle, a figure that varies depending on version and equipment. With regular charging, this range covers a large share of daily journeys without calling on the combustion engine. The battery can be charged using AC at up to 11 kW and DC at up to 40 kW at a compatible fast charger, making it possible to top up on the road too. Over long distances, the 1.5 TFSI takes over, giving the Audi Q3 the versatility expected of a premium compact SUV.

In terms of styling, the new Audi Q3 adopts the brand’s latest design codes. Its silhouette is more expressive and its road presence more assertive. Depending on the version, it can be fitted with Digital Matrix LED headlights featuring micro-LED technology and Digital OLED rear lights. The customisable lighting signatures, continuous rear light strip and illuminated Audi rings underline its technological identity, by day and by night.

Digital cabin, modularity and on-board technology

The Audi Q3 e-hybrid 204 PS is available in two body styles: the SUV, with a traditional profile, and the Sportback, with a more sloping roofline. Both combine compact exterior dimensions with a modular cabin. The standard sliding rear bench lets you prioritise either legroom or load space. On this e-hybrid version, boot capacity can reach up to 1,293 litres with the rear seats folded, making it as well suited to town driving as to holiday getaways.

On board, everything is organised around the Audi digital stage. This includes the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus and the 12.8-inch MMI touch display. An AI-enhanced voice assistant provides access to the vehicle’s main functions without taking your eyes off the road. The new steering wheel control unit brings together the main driving functions. It frees up space on the centre console, giving it a cleaner layout.

The new generation also features driver assistance systems inherited from models in the higher segments of the Audi range. They contribute to peace of mind at the wheel, both in town and on the motorway.

With this version, Audi continues the electrification of the Q3 range. It offers an electric range suited to everyday journeys without compromising on the equipment, build quality or technology of a premium compact SUV.
