The new Audi A2 e-tron is now available to order
Audi is opening a new chapter in its electric range with the new A2 e-tron, now available to order from €38,600. The successor to a model that made its mark with its innovative technical choices, this new 100% electric compact car once again places efficiency at the heart of its design. With energy consumption as low as 12.8 kWh/100 km and a range of up to 646 km according to the WLTP cycle, it becomes the most efficient model Audi has ever produced. The first deliveries are scheduled for December 2026.
Up to 646 km of range and four power levels
The efficiency of the Audi A2 e-tron is based on a combination of aerodynamic and mechanical optimisations. Its drag coefficient (Cd) of just 0.24 is notably the best result ever achieved by an Audi in the compact segment. Its streamlined front end, flowing roofline and carefully optimised airflow management contribute directly to reducing energy consumption.
The range is built around three gross battery capacities of 52, 61 and 84 kWh, combined with four power levels ranging from 125 kW (170 hp) to 240 kW (326 hp). Depending on the version, WLTP range extends from 423 to 646 km.
DC fast charging can reach up to 183 kW. Under optimal conditions, charging from 10 to 80% takes between 24 and 29 minutes depending on the version. These characteristics make this electric compact car equally suited to urban and everyday journeys as well as long-distance travel.
The A2 e-tron also introduces bidirectional charging to the Audi range. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows energy stored in the battery to be used to power external electrical equipment. With a compatible DC wallbox, Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) technology can also supply electricity back to a home, allowing the car to be used as an energy storage solution.
A completely redesigned interior centred around digital technology
Inside, Audi combines the latest-generation digital technologies with a design focused on space and practicality. The MMI panoramic display is fitted as standard and combines the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus with a curved 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen. The Audi assistant with integrated artificial intelligence and the e-tron route planner complete this digital environment.
The new Softwrap is one of the interior’s distinctive features. Extending from the dashboard to the door panels, it helps create a sense of continuity and space. Audi is also introducing the Fidlock magnetic fastening system, allowing various accessories to be installed in the passenger compartment or boot.
Versatility also remains central to the design of this new A2. Its boot offers 396 litres of capacity, increasing to 1,336 litres when the rear seats are folded down. Some versions also feature an additional 13-litre front luggage compartment.
Standard equipment also includes numerous driver assistance systems, including emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, evasive assist, driver attention assist, park assist plus and a reversing camera.
Now available to order, the new Audi A2 e-tron starts at €38,600 in Advanced trim with its 170 hp powertrain and a range of up to 423 km WLTP. Designed and produced in Ingolstadt, Germany, it demonstrates a resolutely contemporary approach: offering a particularly efficient and technologically advanced electric compact car, equally well suited to everyday journeys and long-distance travel.
